Our services and meetings are open to all visitors. We are much like Methodist, Lutheran, and other traditional church services.
People come in street casual clothes, and some men wear slacks and sport coats, while women wear pantsuits, dresses, or slacks and blouses. Our church leadership is locally elected from the membership. Even the pastor is selected by the congregation from qualified nominees with advanced studies Masters Degree in Bible, church and theology.
Our worship follows a traditional style with favorite hymns, times for prayer and the study of Holy Scripture. Videos of worship services are available. Special services happen at Easter, Christmas, Memorial Day, and other days. Holy Communion is celebrated each month and on special Christian calendar days.
Our history connects to the great church reformation of the 1600s in Scotland and across Europe. Church leaders like John Knox, John Calvin, Martin Luther and others, wanted worship and Christian life to be focused on Bible teaching, and for the people to understand and worship in their own languages and not just in Latin.
Thus the Bible and worship services were translated and presented in the local languages for people to easily understand.
